From the historic palazzos of Palermo to the 18th century villas of nearby Bagheria, a journey through the works of Sicilian painter Ignazio Moncada (1932-2012) linked to sensations, colours and materials of the island, which are traced in the cycle Representations, in the painted ceiling of Palazzo Branciforte in Palermo, in the ceramics and canvases on show at Villa Cattolica di Bagheria and in the work at Museo Civico di Castelbuono. And, moreover, in the Room of the Restless, a space faced in polychrome ceramic, open to the public for the first time in VillaTrabia, Bagheria.
